I am a general practitioner with over 20 years of legal experience. I have been admitted to practice law in states of New York, Louisiana and in Washington D.C. In 1993, I began my legal career in Louisiana as a trial attorney for State Farm. As a trial attorney for State Farm I defended over a thousand personal injury lawsuits concerning automobile accidents, slip and falls, trip and falls, dog bites, boating accidents and fires. In 2000, I returned to New York and continued working with State Farm as a trial attorney. In 2004, I left State Farm and began my career in private practice. Since 2004, I have successfully handled a variety of legal matters as a general practitioner including but not limited to Probate and Administration of Estates; Small Estate Planning including the preparation of Wills, Trusts and Powers of Attorney, Healthcare Proxies and Living WIlls; Guardianships; Real Estate transactions and related litigation; Zoning; Mortgages and Refinancing; Preparation and Enforcement of Promissory Notes; Business Formation and Dissolution; Corporate matters; Landlord/Tenant matters; Preparation, review and negotiation of Residential and Commercial Leases; Contracts; Name Changes; Commercial, Civil and Personal Injury litigation. While practicing law in New York I tried cases in Kings County Supreme Court, Queens County Supreme and Civil Courts, Nassau County Supreme and District Courts and Long Beach City Court.
