Some engineers get pigeonholed into being linear, while that is important, learning when to turn is really the key to leading engineering field teams across the central US for Cisco. I am responsible for customer success through the field Solution Architects across the US Commercial Central area that encompasses a 17-state geography in the middle of the US. I directly support the Central Area Sales Vice President in leading field sales, services, marketing, channels and all programs that directly contribute to the $2.4 billion in annual revenue for Cisco in the Commercial Central Area.Since joining Cisco in 2000 , I have been helping customers in Commercial, Public Sector and Enterprise accounts by leading technical sales teams. While in Commercial, I have been leading Industry Architecture teams, Internet of Things (#IoT) and Commercial Select Systems Architect programs for the US Commercial Theatre (all of which are a definite enriching turns in my career). Prior to Cisco, I worked for a systems integrator as a solutions architect manager and project manager. This experience gives me incredible vision for a successful path ahead for my team members, Cisco and most importantly my customers.
