My leadership style I strive for encourages collaboration with and respect for those under me, and I have had a lot of success creating teams that work well together.I've always been a creative person at heart, with classical and jazz music training, and I try to encourage creativity in the workplace. I also have other outlets to express my creativity. In a past life, I also wrote audio digital signal processing software, and still have an active interest in sound recording and audio production. I have a small production company and record label that is a work of love that has released an eclectic mix of music.

Although it wasn't a well paid position, it was one of the most rewarding experiences I ever had. Part of my duties included building input devices to interface with an iCubeX (www.infusionsystems.com) and Max/MSP for our users with physical disabilities. This allowed people with limited mobility to express themselves musically, some for the first time ever.
