I measure the upstream value chain of the federal government. Given the fuzzy nature of Scope 3, particularly in large and complex supply chains, much of my work focuses on improving the accuracy and actionability of estimates for Purchased Goods and Services via a hybrid approach model. I engage and empower federal agencies via a community of practice and the development of tools that allow agencies to view and hotspot their supply chains. I engage with top federal suppliers to encourage and support complete and standardized scope 3 measurement and decarbonization.I baselined LMI's Scope 3 emissions and developed a tool to transparently calculate and store results in line with the GHG Protocol Corporate Accounting and Reporting Standard. I developed GHG reduction targets aligned with SBTi.

As the Climate Program Manager, I was the lead climate expert tasked with achieving AVEVA’s SBTi commitments. Workstreams included developing a VPPA strategy, developing a carbon removal policy, collaborating on a supplier code of conduct, and shaping strategy around Scope 3 reductions, particularly the Use of Sold Product.

I envisioned and built out the Analytics team to deliver our Net Zero service and scale our products. I was responsible for project deliverables, seeking new business opportunities and strategic partnerships, and coaching and developing team members. Our Net Zero service baselined client GHG emissions and co-created a scientifically valid pathway to net zero emissions built on the SBTi framework involving client-led prioritization of strategy levers through an inclusive facilitated workshop process. Select highlights include:• Engaged the C-suite in developing First National Bank of Omaha’s Sustainability Master Plan including establishing a regenerative vision, setting an ambitious net-zero Scope 1 and 2 emissions goal aligned with SBTi standards, and integrating a CSR environmental initiative. This plan led to an 18% reduction in emissions from a 2017-2019 baseline in 2021 and included actions such as decommissioning a natural gas fuel cell and investing in on and off-site renewables.• Built a strategic partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation to develop a comprehensive carbon accounting and offsetting experience for clients. • Supported the creation of a joint climate commitment among the Aquarium Conservation Partnership, a partnership of 26 Aquariums accelerating environmental impact. I obtained contracts with a majority of member aquariums for support including completing a GHG inventory for Scope 1, 2, and select Scope 3 emissions and completing a net-zero pathway and ensured project managers maintained a cohesive vision and services across clients.• Performed a consumption-based inventory, forecasted GHG emissions, analyzed the impact of 10 target source reductions, and refined and prioritized strategies for the City of Salem, OR, Climate Action Plan.

Highlights included:- Project management of Sustainability Master Planning projects- Development of strategic partnership with Arbor Day Foundation to streamline carbon accounting and offsetting process - Performed an analysis of 84 school’s waste systems to determine cost and diversion rate under 3 scenarios and produced unique Markdown reports for each school - Identified and fixed errors in client’s greenhouse gas inventory, leading to net-positive carbon outcome - Created internal data dashboard to calculate travel-related greenhouse gas emissions including the use of R, Shiny, JavaScript, and CSS - Automated tedious data entry and formatting tasks to wrangle large messy data sets into a specific upload format for EPA Portfolio Manager. - Launched company’s first Git repository - Launched internal website for Shiny tools hosted on Digital Ocean server
