For over 20 years, I have enjoyed challenging and supporting students as they develop the skills needed to pursue their own life goals. Young people can be a challenging lot but seeing them grow into varying level of successes is an incredible reward.When I am not as school, family takes the lead. Beyond that, I am definitely defined by the expression of my competitive nature through sports. Growing up, if there was a ball involved, I probably at least tried to play the game. Since I spent a bulk of my growing up years in Brazil, soccer really is the dominant force. I enjoy the passion of the game and the artistic flare that is required of top flight soccer. But do not discount the others. Football is awesome because of all the nuances that are applicable to life. Sports are a microcosm on life and can provide an environment for personal development and growth. I love my God. I love my country, that He provided for me. I love my family, that He gave me. Quoting my grandfather, "Nuf said."
