A Track and Field coach building a business to bridge the gap between amateur and elite performance. To build the pathway and support that I wish I had as an aspiring athlete.I started my coaching career at the prestigious Oaklands college athletics academy where I grew to lead a coaching a medical team that supported athletes to achieve national junior medals and GB junior selection. After Oaklands, I tested myself in Dubai. I created an internationally accredited athletics coaching course for PE teachers in British independent schools across the GEMS network. As a side project, I built a youth athletics pathway which was a finalist for the “Best youth development programme” award.Currently, I am the lead long and triple jump coach at Cambridge University, and run a private horizontal jumps group in Cambridge, while also supporting athletes remotely. My track and field athletes have represented at, World Junior Championships, Commonwealth Games, Loughborough International, Schools international, and UK School Games. Additionally I have supported athletes to world championship and World Cup selections in Skeleton, Hockey, and Netball. As well as providing a range of performance services to academy football players and endurance sport athletes. In April 2022, I recruited some partners and formed Ignite Performance ltd with the aim of bringing professional support to amateur sport and help to bridge the gap from aspiring to elite athlete for self funding amateur athletes. In 2023 we rebranded to Cambridge Track & Field Academy, and narrowed our focus to the sport and location where we could have the most impact with our current staff size.Visit: www.Cambridgetfa.co.ukI'm a dreamer, a believer, a big picture thinker and a problem solver. My favourite term is to innovate on the status quo. Coaching isn't a career choice. It's a lifestyle.Professional objectives:Revolutionise the amateur sport sector by building a business to pioneer the implementation of professional services for development stage athletes.---For the SEO:A Cambridge-based strength & conditioning and athletics coach with experience as a multidisciplinary team leader and a track record of supporting individuals through the transition from sub-elite to the world championship and commonwealth games.
