Formal and Boring Bio:Kathryn is the President of Auxiom, a Technology Company located in Rochester, Michigan.Kathryn H. Baker, D.M., has been an adjunct professor at Walsh College for more than ten years. She teaches graduate courses in management communications and provides sales and business coaching, executive coaching, and customized training and development programs to both business owners (mid-size organ.) and large corporations.Dr. Baker earned a Doctorate of Management in Executive Leadership from Walsh College in 2014. She earned a Bachelor of Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, in Atlanta, Georgia, and a MBA from Walsh College in 2004. Her doctoral dissertation titled, “Business Coaching and Leader Efficacy Development: A Comparative Study,” focused on the business coaching experience and its impact on leader efficacy development. Prior to joining Auxiom, Kathryn operated a business advising and coaching practice for over thirteen years where she worked directly with business owners and executives in the areas of strategy, growth, organizational development and profitability.With over 10 years of corporate experience, Dr. Baker worked for Ingersoll-Rand in the Fluid Technologies Group, as a Business Unit Manager responsible for the Dispensing Technologies business in Rochester Hills, MI. Prior positions held with Ingersoll-Rand include a global marketing manager, a tier one industry manager, and originally as an area sales manager. Kathryn has extended experience in the disciplines of business development, sales, marketing, strategic planning, and organizational development.
