Jerry Silverman is a highly experienced and inspiring industry professional with a successful record of accomplishments in a wide variety of areas including: sales and marketing, training and development, and launch commercialization. He has worked in corporate, “big pharma”, and led a medical communications agency, over his career and continues to be a strong advocate for the value of industry pharmacists, fellows, and students through coaching and teaching. Mr. Silverman is most proud of his contributions to the professional growth and advancement of industry pharmacists. His agency served as an APPE for five schools of pharmacy in the NY metropolitan area for almost two decades and was the first medical communications agency in the US to participate in an industry fellowship within the Rutgers Post-Doctoral Program, where Jerry served as a preceptor. In 2008, Mr. Silverman was honored by the Alliance for Continuing Medical Education (ACME) for commitment to the training of industry pharmacists. Jerry now devotes his time and passion to coaching healthcare providers and students desiring to pursue careers in the pharma industry by serving as Senior Industry Coach, Counselor, and Instructor for the Industry Pharmacists Organization (IPhO).
