As a highly experienced and dedicated professional with over 20 years of experience in coaching and developing individuals in the realm of swimming, triathlon, and personal fitness, I am deeply passionate about helping others achieve their full potential. My journey began at the age of 19, when I reluctantly took on the role of swimming teacher and lifeguard, but soon discovered a deep passion for this field and a talent for imparting knowledge, improving performance, and building others up.In 2009, I made the decision to focus on my own physical fitness and began training for my first triathlon, a sprint distance event. This experience sparked a love for the sport, and I have since competed at the sprint, Olympic, 70.3, and Iron distances, including completing Ironman Wales twice. Throughout my journey, I have continued to coach and develop others in various capacities, and I find great fulfillment in understanding what motivates people and helping them to identify and achieve their goals, whether they are age group championships or simply completing their first race.As the founder of a successful triathlon coaching company, I am able to coach full-time, which allows me to fully focus on developing athletes and helping them reach their goals. Additionally, I am currently training as a mountain leader, which further expands my range of skills and knowledge. My qualifications include:MRes (physiology) Sports and Health Science, BSc. (Hons.) Sports Health and Performance Science (First Class), Level 3 British Triathlon Coach, Level 2 Training Peaks Coach, British Triathlon Coach Mentor, ASA swimming teacher/coach, ASA Open water Coach, Level 3 Personal Trainer,Coach Educator for both Swim Wales and British Triathlon.
