I am a graduate of Kent State University, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations and Marketing within the School of Media and Journalism and College of Communication and Information. During my time at Kent State, I wrote for the student media platform KentWired, collaborated in multiple projects creating PR campaigns and events for clients, and participated in the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA). I was also a contributing member of the Her Campus Kent State social media team. In my senior semester, I participated in the 2021 PRSSA Bateman Competition, creating and implementing a full public relations campaign with the purpose of improving civility in public discourse. My passion and current position is within the music entertainment industry in Nashville, TN- fulfilling multiple temporary roles for the Country Music Association as a Marketing and Content Coordinator, Social Marketing Coordinator, and Social Media Manager. With each of these opportunities, I have been able to elevate my experience executing basic marketing functions with an emphasis in digital marketing and social media. My responsibilities include copyrighting, content creation, post scheduling, publishing, and monitoring, community engagement, content management, administrative support, and collaboration with internal and external marketing teams. I have successfully worked with multiple clients directly in order to understand their needs and achieve their business goals. I gained B2B agency experience in a position with Babcox Media as their social media intern, where I assisting in managing up to 17 company accounts each with their own unique brand voices and needs. This role required me to create digital content that educated other business leaders within their respective markets. I have 5 years of experience in the customer service industry as a restaurant server/bartender and manager. This experience has allowed me to master my communication and promotion skills, learn how to adequately deal with customer conflict, and most importantly lead a high-functioning team.
