Service And Repair Lead Technician ManagerWireless@Work Oct 2013 - Oct 2014Muncie, IndianaAs a Technical Consultant my responsibilities include, but are not limited to;-Primarily to assist Sprint customers with issues regarding their mobile devices.-Harvest workable parts from phones or the purchasing of parts from an authorized Sprint part distribution center to repair customer devices.-Keeping up to date with the most recent training modules including new or updated methods and procedures in regards to service and repair.-When a customer describes their device issue, to properly translate what needs done versus what was said.-Setting customer expectations of a diagnosis.-Explain efficiently when a replacement will be ordered, if necessary, and notifying the customer of its arrival.-Immediate need to adjust persona per customer.-Daily filing of paperwork that contains detailed customer data in an organized fashion for audit purposes.-Returning of defective devices in a timely manner to the refurbishing department.-Properly explain and sell device protection including Total Equipment Protection(TEP) and device accessory protection.-To obtain trust by speaking with confidence and meeting customers needs before diagnosing their device.-To effectively demonstrate the use of customer devices and prevention methods to avoid commonly known issues.-The managerial responsibility of maintaining employee morale.-Keep up with fast paced environment.-Capture every service opportunity to achieve expected goals.-Conference calling with other service locations on a weekly basis to talk about metrics reporting and similar device issues.-Properly train and educate Junior Technicians on effective technician roles/responsibilities.-Motivate staff members to keep up morale.-Read and adjust, if necessary, our employees time cards.-Keeping the stores technology (PC's, printers, etc.) up to date and working.-To sell and promote Sprint products as well as the safety and security of what is offered from our store.-Represent Sprint. -
