I am currently working on pricing exercises for a start up business in the Short term insurance industry. Where we use several different techniques to compensate for the lack of data and applying a range methodologies to arrive at competitive premiums to be able to compete in the market. It also provides me the opportunity to gain extensive data science skills as the core team is responsible for the majority of data work as well as analytics and monitoring of experience.
