Managed and assisted 16 maintenance qualified persons with over 8,000 corrective and preventive maintenance checks.Technical Training Actively mentored, trained and supervised junior personnel to improve their system knowledge and general professional skills.Maintenance/Repair Repaired numerous server hardware issues that resulted in fast system recovery and cost efficiency. Localized many electrical fault issues. Conducted over 4,000 corrective and preventive maintenance checks on the SQQ-89 A(v)-15 system alone to insure top equipment performance and efficiency.; Implemented command policies, technical procedures and standards for preserving the integrity and operation of the Sonar system on board USSStockdale DDG-106. Enhanced command reputation by assisting other ships in sonar related issues and certifications.Successfully initiated andimplemented 3 new sonar procedures which resulted in permanent procedure change ship wide. Consistently received positive feedback fromchain of command on board USS Stockdale and many other ships on the west coast.Troubleshooted and fixed many electrical/electronic issuesthroughout the SQQ-89 A(V)-15 sonar system while on board.Provided high level and in depth technical support and training in a professionalmanner and time frame consistent with department service levels and goals.
