I’m a recent graduate of Chemistry, Materials Science at CSULB. My research at CSULB focused on the synthesis of novel organophosphorus compounds as potential BuChE inhibitors for Alzheimer’s Disease treatment. My research and academic experience have instilled in me the importance of good record-keeping, safety, and following protocols. In addition to my training, I have a strong aptitude and desire for learning new skills and techniques.In addition to my academic training, throughout 3 years of working in the Substance Abuse Treatment industry, I gained valuable interpersonal and management skills. I collaborated with team members in designing weekly treatment schedules for group sessions with clients and worked independently to execute group sessions, individual sessions, and various assessments and reports. Each of these tasks required me to be efficient with time management to report to various departments and insurance companies.Currently, I am eager to dedicate my newfound scientific skills to the chemical industry.
