Responsible for the repair and maintenance of the streets and roads throughout the City of Tyler. I manage the various repair and repaving projects from the design of the pavement sections to the allocation of funds, contractor bidding and selection, materials testing oversight, and quality assurance of the construction.

I am a part of a team that performs forensic based structures evaluations, utilizing tools and testing such as Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), Impact Echo testing, Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity testing (UPV), and visual and historic observations. We also perform pre-construction condition surveys on existing structures, which may lead to the development of a vibration control plan and vibration monitoring. We can focus our services to meet the needs of insurance companies needing structural expertise with a claim, or provide annual structural inspections to meet government code requirements. My responsibilities as a Geotechnical EIT involve bidding on projects, creating and submitting proposals, interacting and forming relationships with clients, classifying soil, assigning lab testing for soil, performing engineering calculations on soil, and writing geotechnical engineering reports.

I am a Civil/Structural EIT at CB&I. I have designed many steel structures for petrochemical facilities including pipe racks, miscellaneous supports, and foundations. I have been extensively involved in detailed steel connection design.

As Transportation Director at Laity Lodge Youth Camp, I was responsible for the maintenance of over 30 camp vehicles. I was also responsible for the daily delegation of the use of camp vehicles. I played a leadership role for camp staff, and actively helped to ensure a safe, fun, and loving camp environment for the children.

As a Civil/Structural Intern at The Army Corps of Engineers I performed quality assurance inspections on a reinforced concrete building, and performed daily safety inspections around the project site. I was involved in construction problem solving and troubleshooting efforts.
