For years I jokingly said that my dream job was to be paid to sit around and read books. Then in 2016, my dream was made reality. I maintained the accounts, organized shelves, negotiated trades and purchases, dealt courteously and informedly with customers, and burned through books like the city was on the verge of crumbling and burying us all (which it almost did in September 2017). I left this dream job for another, when I began writing the new Moon Handbook to Oaxaca in June 2018.
