I have been working in a research laboratory for three years. Collecting data to measure the quality and amount of groundwater reaching local South Texas bays and estuaries. I have become familiar with isotope geochemistry working heavily with Radium and Radon, though also collecting data on Oxygen, Hydrogen, and Nitrogen isotopes. I have been in charge of running a Dionex Ion Chromatograph for some time, testing for seawater anions (Chloride, Bromide, and Sulfate). I have been collecting samples in the field for three years on both land and in the water (both wading and from a boat). I hope to keep working with water to make sure that this precious natural resource is safe for all for many years to come.
