My tenure in renewable energy began with becoming a ground level solar installer for Solar Holler during the initial startup. From there, after realizing the importance of technical knowledge, paired with the want to set our installation teams up for success while facilitating a positive customer facing experience, I created the Technical Advisor position, which has since become a department of its own. Ultimately, being well versed in all aspects of solar installations and having the ability to educate folks on the nuances of solar energy/rules/regulations/benefits I moved into a full time role as a Solar Evaluator and have led our team in sales and generated millions in revenue while providing customers with multitudes of utility cost savings and making the earth a little happier each day.This experience has ultimately lead me to be referred to and accept a leadership position at Coalfield Development as Director of Renewable Energy. In this role I lead a teams who conducts renewable energy workforce development training sessions, help deploy solar and renewable energy projects through consulting, project management, participating in review boards, acting as project a lead, and researching and reporting on potential projects.
