Based on my previous work experiences, I am sure you can tell that I am somewhat of an adrenaline junkie. It certainly takes a true thrillseeker to delve deep into the IT field, especially when it comes down to things like networking. Just imagine the rush when you hear the words; “the BIOS update bluescreened”. To me, putting out the fire is half the fun, the other half being the satisfaction of possibly even improving or optimizing the solution.My broad repertoire of jobs, in combination with my education, has given me the unique chance to experience so many facets of what a workplace and workday can look like, as well as what life can throw at you.For example, through my experiences within the Law Enforcement and Military fields, I have attained several skills and tools, which I have been able to utilize ever since. Here are just a few examples of that:- Organizing and leading team projects- Communicating efficiently in teams- Making fast but informed decisions in stressful situations- Structuring and initiating solo work assignments- Managing and resolving conflicts- Training and instructing others on how to complete complex tasks- Motivating others and boosting morale- Walking, talking, and eating, all at onceI have also picked up a few things during my stay in the IT field, such as:- Identifying and solving issues on the go- Adapting to both day shifts and night shifts- Simplifying advanced concepts for customers- Understanding customers' needs and adjusting my services to fit- Supporting my coworkers socially and professionally- How to use a Keurig to achieve absolute maximum work performanceIf you like the sound of my jack of all trades background, it’d be my pleasure to connect and uncover new solutions with you.
