About Cody S.

I believe that we are all doing our best on any given day. I believe in the inherent goodness of people and that largely they want to be better than they are. We all want to make our best better. Given fertile ground, nourishment from compassionate hands, and room and freedom, we will thrive.I focus on helping people get better by meeting them where they are to pursue their goals. Through my career I have served others through talent management, career development, leadership, instructional design and delivery, mentorship, and teaching on multiple platforms. I have coached individuals, championed small teams, and led large organizations. Through it all, I sought to help people improve themselves, their lives, and the organizations to which they belong. When I can't impact people directly, I hope that I can be an example to them, especially for my family. I continually seek out new challenges, opportunities for growth and development, and roles that test my comfort zone. That drives my continuing education and personal development goals. Like a runner, every step forward is just a controlled fall, forward momentum pushed and contained to maintain forward progress and to not, hopefully, fall on my face.
