Operations and Organizational Leadership -Leadership role in driving a collaborative process with the Board of Directors, staff and leadership team that resulted in the development of goals, objectives and operational plans for the organization. -Manage organization by appropriate departmental metrics to achieve quarterly financial results. -Operational oversight and management of major business functions including finance, HR, operations, marketing, and revenue. -Lead, motivate and develop staff of over 120 people so that they are passionate about the mission of the organization and working towards continuous improvement.-Ensure the org has a diverse staff with skills appropriate to the needs of the strategic plan through people management including hiring, on-going staff development, performance management, compensation/benefits. Financial Responsibility-Achieved revenue growth of 15% year over year and exceeded budget by 9% during my tenure as interim CEO.-Transitioned all accounting/finance from outsourced third party to building out an internal finance department led by fractional CFO-Oversee preparation of the annual budget including approval process with Board of Directors-Regular & on-going management of the P&L for the $6M annual budget of the organization. -Lead financial growth to maintain healthy cash flow and adequate reserves to support board-approved investments and risk-taking Show less
