Provide crisis intervention services to teens and young adults experiencing homelessness, living on the streets, or couch hopping. Promote family reunification whenever safe, possible, and in the best interest of the youth and family. Conduct assessments, including educational, cultural, SEY risk, human trafficking, trauma, Casey Life Skills, etc. Help youth create individual goal plans and follow through with the completion of goals. Support youth as they navigate multiple systems and access community resources, including financial support, education, employment and job training, health and wellness, and housing.Meet with the youth, family, and other youth support persons and/or community partners. Effectively document goals, progress, and outcomes using staff activity logs, case notes, and transition/discharge plans. Enter data into the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS). Work closely with the Senior Manager to maintain high-quality data. Monitor client case files for completeness and thoroughness.Transport youth to appointments as needed. As Program Supervisor, we work to implement the individual service plans and assist with administrative duties, such as hiring, training, staff schedules, plan oversight, and supervision of the Direct Support Professionals(DSP) in the home. Assist individuals receiving service with daily activities such as meal preparation and planning; medication administration; and personal care.Duties are split between providing direct support, professional or program activities, and supervision.Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings in the community or providing transportation to work or other activities.

The Panel Doors 3 staff utilize a machine to ensure the parts are correctly sized, shaped and sorted. This role included replacement of cutter heads and expertise in managing the programs for quality assurance.The Panel Doors 3 staff works alongside a team that supplies the materials (wood for the machine to shape and size), allowing for seamless and streamline operation.Performed as a float when needed in 3 other departments. This included shipping, face frames and sanding.

The Youth Advocate role consisted of overseeing a large team of 30+ volunteers to coordinate events, field trips and meals for the youth in program.Prepared the curriculum for youth ages 13-18 in a low-pressure setting.Managed finances for the center, including handling of donations and their donation forms. Provided a safe space for teens to learn about healthy relationships, substance abuse, career readiness and future academics.Connected with many businesses in the community to provide careers to the youth, food for the center and field trips to many locations.

Working with my clients inside their home. Assisting with daily function that they may not be able to do alone, but also promoting independence and individuality.

Priority was on checking out customers, handling cash and returns. Most of the shift required myself to work alone and keep myself paced, all while keeping up with the customers. At the start of the night we also did a "count down" that required changing the money from each register and doing audits to check for quality.

This job was working at the customer service desk. Answering calls, performing returns, handling credit payments and credit openings, along with check outs as needed. The returned items needed to be assessed for viability to be returned to the floor, or if it needed to be sent back as defective/broken return.
