After eight years of working with members in Corporate Fitness Clubs and almost four years as a Franchise Business Coach, I am confident that I have gained a valuable understanding of the Fitness Industry as a whole, but specifically the members, Owners, and teams that strive to promote continued excellence across all fronts. Many times over my 12 years with LiftBrands, I have been a part of the implementation of new systems and tools, both at a member/in-club level as well as a franchisee/educational level. I feel that my educational background in Psychology (MS Applied Psychology and MEd Positive Coaching) provides me with a foundation of understanding the importance of one’s mindset and its impact on the experience that we receive/provide to others. With this, I know that I can continue to bring a unique perspective to this industry and maintain a focus on the members that are central to our mission.I graduated from the University of Missouri - Columbia where I received a M.Ed. in Positive Coaching (GPA - 4.0). Previously, I graduated from Sacred Heart University with a M.S. in Applied Psychology with a concentration in Community Psychology (GPA - 3.98). As I build upon my educational and personal goals, I hope to continue my career within an organization that I can grow in and thrive.I have always aspired to find a career in a field that would allow me to work with others to promote optimal performance and a positive outlook on life. As I attended college and played baseball, I came across psychology and fitness and the incredible benefits that they can have on the mental and physical aspects of an athlete’s performance both on and off of the field.I have continued to build my knowledge base of psychology as well as fitness in order to gain an understanding of where I can best serve individuals and lead them to the best possible life that they can have. Through continued growth and opportunities, I look forward to being a positive force of change within any organizational position that I hold.
