Personally managed the word-of-mouth marketing initiatives for Widmer Brothers Brewery in Washington. Widmer Brothers Brewery is a part of the Craft Brewers Alliance in conjunction with Red Hook Brewery and Kona Brewing Co. selling over $77 M in 2011(IRI).•Results: Executed Widmer Brothers Brewing Company’s 2010/2011 marketing initiatives resulting in Widmer garnering $32M, an increase of 5% vs. last year. (IRI Data). •Engaged in 8,000+ direct conversations with new and existing consumers both on and off premise. •Introduced 5,000+ new consumers to the Widmer Brothers product line through event activation, on-premise promotions, and other word of mouth initiatives.•Planned and executed numerous flash mobs’ and other large scale events that touched thousands of consumers.•Created and launched the “Influencer Happy Hour” which reached over 1000+ influencers at several major Seattle-based companies including Adobe Systems, Google, Intelius.com, Digital Kitchen, PayScale, Gerrigan Lyman Group, Hornall Anderson, and Sub-Pop Records.•Executed hundreds of tasting events, providing beer education to over 1,500+ local consumers.•Established national partnerships with companies such as Goorin Brothers & Epic Seats.•Introduced the Tabletender tap system, a one-of-a-kind self-service draft system to the Seattle community.•Built the Widmer Brothers brand by targeting influencers, and creating a product experience that increases conversion rate, brand loyalty, and drives viral word-of-mouth efforts.•Used viral, grassroots, and seeding tactics to create great stories about the Widmer Brothers brand that will encourage word of mouth conversations.•Supported Widmer Brothers’ marketing team in executing events and festivals.•Supported local sales team in driving brand awareness & product support.
