As regional head of urban FCs, managed and supervised operations of 8 different fulfillment centers (FCs) for Amazon, spread across different geographies in North. Responsible for loss prevention, labor planning, training and safety of employees at Amazon fulfillment centers, in addition to handling a daily inventory movement of 0.5 Million for North Zone. Also responsible for the management and growth of 5 site leads and operations managers along with management of 28 Area managers directly involved in operations with a total team strength of 5000+ employees. Launched/Migrated 4 urban FCs to a more robust platform, enabling high end productivity and quality management. Extensive stake holder management during the launch and stabilization of operations and quality parameters within 2 weeks of launch.

South Delhi

Single point contact for Labor planning/staffing and budgetary planning for the FCs. Responsibilities also included warehouse planning, forecasting, defect control, skill development, shrink, stake holder management and productivity improvement. Improved the productivity by 30% and brought down the operating cost by 20% by manpower rationalization. Piloted and implemented cost rationalization project to downsize the managerial and support bandwidth to 50% resulting in a saving of INR 31 Million annually and at the same time enhanced the operational capacity of the site by 3 times. Delivered 15 successful Peaks in 3 years at different Fulfillment centers.

Responsible for electronics weapon systems factory managed & run by the Indian army. Operations Head of a manufacturing unit & warehouse capacity of 80000 Sq. ft. Responsible for a team of 500 civilian workforce, this included shop floor workers, supervisors and managers. Role included hiring, training, productivity & performance management of this staff. Successfully managed to troubleshoot & turn around a sick manufacturing with severe productivity issues. This unit represents army investments of over Rs 330 crores and annual production of equipment worth Rs 750 crores.

Project focused at developing and manufacturing India’s first indigenous, Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV). Owned program management of the designing, development and coordination between the stakeholders of different agencies involved in developing the UAV. Managed & drove several multi systems integration issues within design teams from different national and international organizations.to expedite the overall development & quality control processes to take the UAV for a first viability trials, which successfully completed its maiden test flight in Nov 2016

Planned, established and executed technical and administrative operations of two major DRONE/UAV bases. Involving preparation of case (business case) for approval from army leadership and Ministry of Defense, managing release of funds from the ministry & successfully bootstrapping the projects within a highly crunched time of 6 months.Planning & forecasting for inventory management, supply chain management & transportation of equipment for both, inbound and outbound movement.

: Managed both technical and administrative functioning of a mobile missile testing unit. Led technical and administrative team of 115 combatants. Planning and working on minimal logistics to be effective yet be capable of moving at short notice for establishing temporary mobile base on wheels with in-house capability of mechanical repairs of the fleet.  Planning maintenance and technical worthiness of testing stations in adverse operating conditions.  Demarcating and multitasking of technical, logistics and operations team.

Resource allocation of military equipment and maintenance of IT centers. Directly responsible for deployment and operations of 10 repair and recovery detachments during Kargil war. Orchestrated movement of supplies and ammunition amidst heavy enemy shelling by leading and coordinating my team for rescue and recovery of vehicles spread over 100km on the national highway. Led a team of 75 technicians responsible for procurement, installation and regular maintenance and operations of IT infrastructure and a range of other Military Equipment.
