As of August of 2024, I have served as the Chair of the Communications Committee. This committee creates the marketing materials for Student Government. Under my leadership, the organization has seen the creation of the most viewed social media posts and reels it has ever seen. A majority the posts and reels that I have done editing on have received over 1,000 views on Instagram with one post receiving over 5,000 views.

Served as a Student Senator on the IU East Student Government Association. My role is to advocate for the needs of the student body to university administration. The work I have completed has allowed me to expand my skills in public speaking, video editing, graphic design, photography, leadership, and more.I have also been able to work and collaborate with high-ranking individuals in both IU East and the Indiana University system.

I am currently working for the IU East Office of Admissions as a Student Admissions Ambassador. My responsibilities for this office include:- Working the front desk at the office- Leading groups of prospective students on tours of the IU East campus while providing vital information.- Traveling to recruitment events in Indiana and Ohio such as: career fairs, high schools, etc.- Assisting the Admissions Office with setting up and tearing down decorations, tables, and other items in preparation for on-campus events.

Currently serving as a part-time videographer for Whitewater Community Television, a public access television station for Wayne County, IN. I film and edit various productions including: government meetings, community events, public service announcements, television programs, and more.

Served as a high school intern for Whitewater Community Television. During this time I learned valuable skills including but not limited to: video editing, camera operation, directing, etc. My lessons culminated in the production of a thirty-minute production titled: “Local Compassion,” which explored the operations of three non-profit organizations. I filmed, edited, and hosted this production using all of the skills acquired from my time as an intern.
