We believe that every child should have a place on the playground, and we can give you the tools to create it. Through hands-on professional development workshops and collaborative consultation, Playworks Pro services teach schools and youth organizations to use practical skills that tap into the transformative play to change lives. Evaluation of our training services show a reduction of disciplinary incidents, a decrease of injuries on the playground, and a positive change in students behavior in the classroom.

The Program Manager will oversee the planning and implementation of Playworks’ comprehensive school-based play and youth development programming. This includes training and oversight of Program Coordinators, developing new trainings for program staff and facilitating the implementation any new or modified programming. This is a full-time, exempt position which reports directly to either the City Executive Director or a Program Director.

Playworks is proud to partner with AmeriCorps, providing opportunities for individuals to make a difference in their lives and the lives of those around them. Many of our first-year coaches are AmeriCorps members, applying their skills and ideals to helping others and serving their community by serving in schools.Playworks program coordinators are full-time positions, responsible for planning and implementing play and physical activity programming during recess, in school and outside of school hours at a public school.
