Mechanical Design Engineer who is passionate about clean energy and the exploration of space. I work on nuclear space exploration and nuclear micro-reactors at BWX Advanced Technologies in Lynchburg, Virginia. I design and analyze mechanical stress, thermodynamic, fluid, and heat transfer systems using appropriate calculations, softwares, and standards. At LU I was able to serve as Chief Engineer for The Genesis Rocket, Liberty University’s first competition rocket. Building a collegiate rocket team from the ground up was a challenge - but we were able to design, manufacture, and launch to 10,000 ft. I have a vision for the exploration of space and benefiting life here on Earth. I want to take my drive, passion, and work ethic into this growing industry to create the world's most advanced spacecraft and clean energy technology.
