For this job, I quickly and efficiently delivered orders to receive a 100% satisfaction rating on over 100 orders. I learned to manage time in a fast-paced work environment while being organized and detail-oriented. Concise verbal and written communication skills were used to relay information between customers and restaurants. This position was self-motivated, and I was always being proactive in looking for areas with a high volume of orders.

I successfully managed a landscaping company, which was a startup company. This company experienced dramatic growth over the course of two years. I was responsible for marketing and generating business for the company, which consisted of networking with friends and neighbors, while also creating advertisements. I contracted dozens of employees and built teams, which gave me experience in a hiring and administrative position. I ensured customers kept using our business by practicing customer service skills, which consisted of clearly communicating with the customer and working around their schedule

Tulsa, Oklahoma

This is a volunteer project in downtown Tulsa, Oklahoma that helps feed and clothe the homeless community. I was responsible for completing a variety of tasks including helping setup activities and food lines. I also had the privilege of being able to spend time with these people and learn more about their lives. I am passionate about investing and serving my community.

I was responsible for cleaning, cooking pizza and other food items, answering phone calls, taking orders, and delivering pizzas. Time management was a huge part of this job. I had to make sure the customers’ food and other items were accounted for and delivered in a timely manner. It was also my responsibility to ensure the customers received quality food. I had to rely on good customer service in order to make tips. This helped me become better at using clear and concise language to communicate with the customer.

I was predominantly responsible for working the line. This consisted of me greeting customers, taking their order, and assembling their dish. I was also responsible for cooking and cleaning when needed. I was responsible for opening and closing the store. Opening the store would require us to check the food to make sure non of it has expired or been store improperly. Closing the store required us to properly package and store the leftover food. This was a full time job, and these responsibilities helped me become used to having a full work schedule that required me to be consistent and reliable. I also learned how to follow food and safety standards set by the FDA. This job also required an Oklahoma food handlers permit.

Every couple of weeks, I picked up a bulk amount of items for hospital patients. These items included supplies like wristbands, blankets, and non-slip socks. Following pickup, I was responsible for packaging these items and delivering them to a building where they could be shipped. Rather than working full time, it was my responsibility to package the items on my own time and bring them to the shipping location before the deadline. This helped me learn load management and allowed me to learn how to manage my time while working. Some months, I would ask for extra responsibilities and payed my friends commission. I would manage them and setup a packaging line, which allowed me to package quicker. This helped me learn how to manage a team and taught me how to search for more efficient business strategies.
