Mental Health Support Group Facilitator, Publicity Officer And TrusteeChanges 2012 - 2014Bristol, United KingdomI facilitated weekly meetings for people suffering from severe anxiety and depression. I supported service users who attend the meetings, encouraging conversation and change. This required excellent communication skills and a high level of understanding and empathy for other people's problems, whilst still maintaining boundaries. As a trustee I frequently had to deal with confidential information and attended monthly meetings to discuss and make decisions about how best to go forward with the organisation. This included discussing, reviewing and updating policies as well as having a central role in making financial decisions in light of financial reports. -
