The role is focused on understanding the impact of emerging cloud strategy on vendors, defined approach for categorisation of suppliers to ensure that supplier rationalisation can take place aligned with key strategic considerationsOther activities include:1, Renegotiating the Master Service Agreements worth £500m pa with key suppliers to ensure current and future ways of working are reflected and that agreements drive correct behaviours whilst maintaining competitive advantage 2. Ensure governance of key strategic relationships acting as interface between LBG teams and suppliers including dispute resolution through the development of strong relationships and working in partnership.3. Defined, bid out and transitioned work packages between strategic suppliers achieving significant value advantage.4. Investigating alignment of suppliers with sustainability commitments around carbon footprint.

Ensure organisational objectives are clear and measurable and then provide relevant reporting to all levels of leadership across Group IT. Take personal accountability for ensuring systems and monitoring are in place to deliver operational compliance across the organisation.

Ensured robust resource forecasts aligned to commitments made in 5 year plan. Drove completion of the 5 year plan for 2013. Increased sanction control around permanent roles and reported through to IT Board detailing current position and options open to hit targets. Implemented Board and directorate level reporting around premises, resources and compliance.
