Students will visit the GMRI and participate in a highly interactive, hands-on lesson on global climate change and how it affects Maine's diverse ecosystems. Subsequently, teachers will be able to choose a unit, each one dealing with a specific species or phenomena in an ecosystem that is at risk because of climate change. Thus, teachers can choose the ecosystem and phenomenon that best reflects their geographic context.
