I served the Xenetic Group from 2006, first as a Non Exec Director working on the RTO of Lipoxen into an AIM cash shell then controlled by Arlington Group plc, which process completed in January 2006. I was invited to take on the executive role of Group CFO the following year from which time I was responsible for all financial, audit and regulatory aspects of the business. This included multiple fund raises on AIM and, later, the setting-up of the first operational entity in the USA; the US transition process culminated in the establishment in the US in January 2014 (through a Scheme of Arrangement) of the currently OTC-listed parent company (Xenetic Biosciences Inc). This was a project of considerable magnitude as regards the audit, financial reporting and SEC listing requirements and, over a period of around 12 months, involved the conversion of the group's IFRS from inception to US listing. I worked closely with the CEO throughout my period in post on Group strategy and its implementation. Starting in 2011,we established a "foothold" operation in the US from which, as the US listing become imminent, we grew the management team in Boston to such level as I was able to step down from the Group CFO role in July 2015. I currently hold ongoing directorial positions in the Group's European subsidiary companies wherein lies the Group's IP, being at the heart of the enterprise.

AGP was a successful PE enterprise focused on niche investment opportunities. The business included an FCA regulated entity alongside a proprietary trading desk and PE investments. The listed business was first established in London in 1997 and was later readmitted to AIM as Arlington Group Limited (AGL) pursuant to a Scheme of Arrangement which effectively transferred its jurisdiction to Bermuda. AGL was voluntarily wound up in 2008 as part of the final alignment offshore of the principal HNW shareholder.
