Position: Systems Engineering Team Leader - 3rd Line BAU support, including small projects.The Infrastructure Team and the Business Systems Team were broken up and reconstituted as a Design Team (Projects) and Systems Engineering Team (BAU). The Systems Engineering Team Leader responsible for a team of 4 (3 permanent and 1 contractor) who are responsible for resolving all the tricky calls the other teams pass on.During this period most of our infrastructure was moved from on-premise to a managed service (BT).The role mainly consists of:Team Management: 6 staff (4 on BAU and 2 on Projects)Developing the BAU roles: BAU, Finance, Monitoring, and SecurityStaff recruitment: Permanent and ContractorReporting: Creation of team weekly reports for the managerAdditional responsibilities are around the third party management of BT (Cloud Compute and Networking) and Nymad (SQL administration) which involve weekly performance review meetings.

Position: Senior Infrastructure Engineer - 3rd Line Support & Projects (Deputise for the Team Leader)Providing support for approximately 2,000 users in a Multi Domain (Active Directory 2008) and Multi-Site environment for a mixture of Windows 2008, Windows 2003, Windows 8 and Windows 7 machines.Installing and supporting over 40 physical Servers, many of which are HP rack mounted servers most of which are in a Co-Located Data Center.Installing and supporting under 150 virtual Servers running in an ESXi 5.5 multi-host, multi-cluster configuration.Supporting Active Directory (DNS & DHCP), Citrix 6.5, Exchange 2007 and Office 365.Managing the Virtual Environment including NetApp and Backup.Proactively monitoring the systems via Solarwinds and McAfee EPO.
