Transforming Systems spun out of a partnership with the University of Greenwich School of Computing & Mathematics in 2012. We spent 6 years in RD before going to market in 2016 and have grown 300% by providing a real time, whole system, single version of the truth across 43 CCGs 22% of the English NHS. Shrewd Resilience, takes data in real time, from ALL health economy partners across a CCG, ICS or STP and presents a whole system, SINGLE VERSION OF THE TRUTH accessible on any device. Shrewd supports informed decision making by creating 'actionable insights' across NHS or Social Care organisations. Shrewd Resilience can support an EPRR response to a major incident such as a terrorist attack or mass casualty event. However, having great data in real time is one thing, what you do with that data is another! Enter Shrewd Action the first real time escalation system linked to live digital actions that trigger to your mobile device. Being able to see what's happening in real time today is great, predicting tomorrow is better. Shrewd Prediction is a predictive analytics tool using ML and AI and won the Innovate UK Outstanding Research award in 2019. Featured on the One Show on BBC One, Waitless is the UKs first real time minor injuries waiting time App with geo-location, traffic, travel and GPS guidance built in to reduce patient waiting times for minor injury treatment. Three reviews of the data, including one by the Behavioral Insights Team, have shown a reduction in A&E minors attendance by 11% in one area and 5.4% across the 4 CCG test bed (BBC and ITV news videos on the Transforming Systems website). Commissioned to by NHS England South, South East, TS built the first NHS England real time view of a whole region to include automated winter reporting, this went live in December 2017 and has saved 8,000 hrs in reporting for the the four month winter period 2019-20. I exited the business in Dec 2020 selling to the Canadian Stock Exchange listed VitalHub group.

Strategic responsibility for the delivery of services to young people

As Director of Policy and New Business Development for Rainer now Catch 22 I fulfilled two roles: I managed the Policy and Standards Unit of 15 staff. I managed the strategic development of all new business and led the large bids programme. I managed the performance improvement and evidencing of effective practice across the organisation. I had also been acting as Youth Ambassador for the Straw-Powell exchange since 2002 to 2005 on behalf of the Foreign & Commonwealth Office. Achievements: • Led sustained growth from £10m to £25 million turnover• Regularly informed, contributed to and wrote national policy (YJB Resettlement).• Acted as Youth Ambassador to America for the Jack Straw-Colin Powell Exchange spending a week each year in Washing ton & New York shadowing Colin Powell. • Wrote and led two of the country’s largest VCS partnership projects in youth justice resettlement and Care leavers policy (£15m combined).
