Responsible for the strategic development and overall performance of Stanton Precast, the UK subsidiary of Consolis (laterly Sateba), a leading European industrial group specialising in the design and manufacture of high-performance precast concrete products, focused on the rail and infrastructure market. Instrumental in securing the largest contract ever awarded to the group in 2021. At over £100M, it transformed the business doubling turnover and providing a state of the art facility for both that and future major projects.

Head of Business Unit Concrete, IMEA (India, Middle East and Africa)Member of the senior Management Team, responsible for the strategic and business development activities of the Business Unit in the companies and regions of IMEA together with the development of leadership positions in selected target markets. T/O CHF 106 million per annum.

Commercially responsible for the precast concrete division, the largest in the UK. Covering 17 major product lines, many with market leading positions. Managed a number of multi million pound contracts across both the building and civil engineering sector with clients such as Network Rail, Carillion, Balfour Beatty and Skanska. Chair of the Precast Flooring Federation marketing committee.

Member of the executive board, responsible for generating new business with an annual turnover of over £100M. Market leaders in their sector with almost 100 years of history, main UK manufacturers of Hollowcore flooring and offsite precast concrete for the building sector, main suppliers to key projects such as the new Wembley Stadium and Arora Hotel at T5. Operating from 4 sites across the UK with over 600 staff.

(Note. Hanson Plc. completed a $2.5 billion acquisition of Australian-based Pioneer International Ltd in May 2000. This was followed in May 2007 by Heidelberg Cement announcement to purchase Hanson PLC for approximately £8 billion). Developed and subsequently implemented the company’s CRM (Customer Relationship Management) programme within the UK, consolidating front and back office functions and delivering a step change in customer service. Managed the companies Key Account strategy (responsible for 7 Key Account Managers), including the management and co-ordination of all national supply initiatives.Development / maintenance of customer satisfaction surveys/ KPI’s as part of the Company’s quality assurance scheme, ISO 9001:2000.Managed the outsourcing of the company’s invoicing and POD documentation, creating one of the first online document retrieval systems within the sector aimed specifically at improving the overall customer experience.Development and delivery of the UK’s web/e-commerce strategy.
