Provided full software, hardware, and IT administration support for a medium sized corporate office of 500+ users and multiple full sized shipping warehouses around the world minimizing downtime for the business. Played an integral role in upgrading phone systems from an analog Mitel system to a Cisco VOIP system effectively bringing support in-house and away from outside vendors.Point of Contact for Pick to Light, and Warehouse Control software issues due to in depth knowledge of the various systems and how they communicate with one another. Successfully completed a full technology upgrade from RF to Bluetooth of the warehouse pick to light scan gun system both in Irvine and in a secondary warehouse in Indiana increasing efficiency and decreasing downtime, repair bills, and reducing signal conflicts with existing WiFi infrastructure. Provided Support both onsite and remotely to locations in Texas, Indiana, Canada, UK, and Australia from the home office in Irvine, CA using remote assistance, web meeting, and various other RDP technologies. Successfully completed a full migration of exchange 2003 from 2 servers in one location to 6 servers in 3 locations to bring company in line with disaster recovery policy compliance Selected to be the onsite IT analyst in launching a new warehouse in Toronto Canada in which tasks included the configuration of all systems for telephone, shipping, packing, & printing. Additionally I successfully implemented a high availability VM server environment to be used as a template for future warehouse locations. Completed a migration of Canadian email users from a third party company to internal exchange 2003 systems.Completed upgrade to Blackberry BES server from version 4.1 to 5.0 in preparation for upgrade to exchange 2010. Part of team of engineers implementing upgrade from exchange 2003 to 2010 to provide a higher availability system for end users and quicker disaster recovery by implementing a DAG across locations.
