Current• Manages an annual purchasing budget of approx. $50 million across several major suppliers and multiple inventory locations by incorporating systematic supply chain strategies and effective S&OP execution to ensure customer satisfaction, optimal purchasing, cost efficient inventory management and effective quality control.• Establishes KPIs to monitor supplier reliability standard, non-conforming shipping time, and inventory turns to measure the effectiveness of the supply chain / procurement operations. • Actively monitors commodity pricing to track and identifies cost reduction opportunities, justified cost fluctuations that impact product costs. Set thresholds that trigger notices to engage in pricing negotiation with suppliers to constantly control and monitor costs. Achieved price reductions from suppliers of up to 8% in 2015.• Identifies and proposes opportunities for process improvement to create and add values to company's supply chain operations.• Develops, manages and maintained effective relationships with suppliers of goods and services to meet the established costs, quality and delivery targets.• Designs and implements supply chain strategy that includes capacity planning, in-sourcing versus out-sourcing, and freight management to align with corporate strategy.• Performs analysis of customer demand, seasonal trend and historical material usage to develop forecast and fulfillment strategy.• Serves as the primary liaison between functional teams, international offices, suppliers, manufacturing facilities, and logistics companies to promote collaboration.• Mitigates supply chain risk by initiating and obtaining C-TPAT certification leading to a 40% reduction in cargo exam rates, greater accuracy in lead time and cost predictions.• Revamped company’s logistics sourcing processes to improve efficiency of annual contract review process• Progresses from Import Coordinator to Sr. Buyer / Supply Chain Planner to Supply Chain Manager
