As agency director at efelle, I lead a cross-functional team of 22 software engineers, front-end developers, graphic designers and account executives. Physician’s Business Services of Washington provided billing and bookkeeping services for 20 Seattle-area anesthesiologists, managing annual receivables of over $5 million a year. As an account manager I was responsible for managing the individual providers and accounts and personally overseeing the reporting accuracy of all billable hours in the receivables department. Additionally, I served as primary technical support and was responsible for managing our technology strategy including leading initiatives aimed at digitizing medical records to reduce archival and warehousing costs while maintaining compliance with all federal HIPAA regulations, resulting in vastly superior availability of reporting metrics on all accounting data.
