Colin is a specialist operating at the intersection of water risk and corporate strategy. As a shared resource, water poses a unique form of risk to business as well as a complex challenge for public management. Colin works to improve water resource management and reduce water risk by:- Assessing business risk and exposure to water-related hazards.- Developing visions, strategies, and targets for corporate water stewardship.- Helping businesses improve water resource management to the benefit of all water users.Colin also works to identify new approaches to water resource valuation and to develop an open-source geodatabase on public water management. He has worked with companies including Google, Tyson, Abbott, Mars, among others, and his writing has been featured in GreenBiz. Colin holds a Master’s in Water Science, Policy and Management from Oxford University and is based in Washington DC.
