I am currently the Regional Chief Executive of Europe, with senior management responsibility and leadership of HSBC Bank plc and HSBC Europe with assets of over £681bn, 1.2million customers across retail & wealth, investment, corporate, private, and transaction banking, and over 16,000 employees operating in 21 markets. I was appointed to this role in February 2021, and have over 14 years in the banking industry, and 16 years in the British Army. I am a member of the boards of HSBC Bank plc, HSBC Trinkaus & Burkhardt AG Supervisory Board, and Serai, an HSBC funded start-up.I am passionate about diversity and inclusion, and developing our people in our business. Our HSBC Europe business is very inclusive and diverse and includes markets from Bermuda to France, from the UK to South Africa. I am a keen photographer and follow many types of sport, particularly skiing, hill-walking, and running.
