Through collaborations and partnerships, we curated events that drove up knowledge of our services, and in turn, increased sales as well.

Raph Coffee is a personal business that I created in hopes to extend my knowledge of specialty coffee while sharing the joy of it with others. Raph Coffee had a humble beginning of working with SIM Students alone, and eventually, delivering islandwide soon after. As Raph Coffee grew and partnered with other established companies, Raph Coffee brought only the best to every customer it served. Raph Coffee's vision was to remind everyone to rest while drinking an exceptional cup of coffee served by us.Raph Coffee was developed from scratch and started profiting in less than 6 months of creation. Branding, marketing, planning, selling, developing and strategising for the business were all necessary steps done by myself to achieve this goal. As a Virtual Relationship Manager(VRM) in DBS, I work with SME clients, Sole Proprietors and LLPs/Partnerships to create corporate accounts with us. Performed regular KYC and compliance checks to mitigate AML risks. This opportunity allowed me to build relationships with many leaders of businesses and understand how leaders innovate to develop their businesses, strengthening my communication, relationship management and business development skills. As a Student Learning Assistant (SLA), I am stationed at the Student Learning Centre within Singapore Institute of Management (SIM). Within our office, we offer free help to all students within SIM with regards to anything related to the English Language. Some of our services include helping students with their academic essays, practicing oral and presentation skills and also teaching them study tips. Academic writing included teaching them grammar, vocabulary, paragraphing, citation and referencing and many other key aspects that were required for their essays. As I had worked with the SLC for more than a year, I was promoted to senior SLA to help plan and organise the schedules, workflow and tasks assigned to every other SLA as well. This experience allowed me to learn how to teach students on an individual level, catering to various requests and aspects of the English language that they brought each time we faced a different individual. Working here also taught me how to communicate with colleagues and other SLAs to ensure the optimal workflow was present and also allowing everyone to be comfortable to share their thoughts with each other to improve one another.

With the passion to make the best cup of coffee, I am working together with Arabica to increase my knowledge and hone my tasting capabilities in coffee tasting. As Arabica is also known to be an international company with high standards, I too want to learn how to build a company up to achieve such standards.

In High Achievers, I have worked as a trainer to impart skills and values to students of all ages. Having taught in secondary schools and ITE as well, I have developed the skill set to be able to manage students in a group setting and ensure that the most amount of information is imparted to them within a given time frame.

As a fresh graduate that had just finished serving in the army, I was waiting for my University's start date and wanted to earn some income for myself. Choosing to enter a Psychology major, I wanted to do something that would allow me to start having practice and yet earning a good income at the same time. I understood that private hire drivers were often taken for granted and wanted to experience how life would be working full time as one. I took up this opportunity, taking a risk by renting a car, to see how disciplined I was in managing my time during this school holiday period. Through these 3 months, I managed to talk to people from all walks of life, learning about different circumstances that people faced and even finding tuition jobs for myself while doing so too. This humbling opportunity as a private hire driver was lucrative as well, although mentally draining as it required constant attention on the road to ensure that I was safe. With no track record of any accidents, I had gained friends, understanding of others and the experience of working in Singapore's often taken for granted jobs.

After graduating from secondary school, I undertook a part-time position as a service crew in Brotzeit Pte Ltd. This experience allowed me to learn basic German language and serve others to ensure they had a pleasant dining experience. Working in Brotzeit for more than 3 years has allowed me to understand the essentials of customer service, how business operations work while honing my sales capabilities.

With Grocery Logistics of Singapore (GLS), I created programmes, maintained and repaired software-related problems using different coding languages. I also designed a webpage for their company with the limited tools and budget I was given. Working with the managers and colleagues at GLS has allowed me to glean basic presentation skills and taught me to be adaptable to the workforce.
