• Led a team of nine to oversee lead dust decontamination and movement of 5,000 objects to a new storage facility. Served as liaison between my team, multiple other contractors, and Smithsonian staff. Coordinated object tracking, packing/unpacking, and movement. Oversaw object handling by team members and contractors to ensure proper handling and care.• Contributed to and oversaw the full inventory (including photography, housing, and storage relocation) of the collection, which includes objects of a wide range of types and sizes from the National Museum of American History, the National Museum of Natural History, and the National Postal Museum.• Photographed objects during inventory that met the standards of NMAH's Digital Asset Management system.• Worked with facilities staff and contractors to monitor environmental conditions in object storage space and recorded temperature and humidity data daily to help resolve issues.• Created custom, museum-quality housing for approximately 800 objects and completed a shelf survey of 4,500 objects from NMAH; reconciled location discrepancies in Mimsy XG.• Participated in hiring four new team members; independently trained them in project responsibilities, administration, and workflow.• Worked with fine art handlers to determine the configuration and contents of object storage crates. Created a system to track the measurement, delivery, and packing of each crate.• Wrote bi-weekly reports on project progress for stakeholders. Initiated meetings with my team and Smithsonian staff to improve communication and troubleshoot issues.
