I drew on my experience of the disruptive force of artificial intelligence as it transforms the traditional ways in which people conduct business, and became a student pursuing a Master’s degree in Data Science at New York University.Previously, I worked full-time as a risk assurance associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers Business Consulting for two years, where I led teams and performed a full spectrum of IT audit functions including tests for IT General Controls and IT Automated Controls. I also utilized data analytics tools on-the-daily to uncover insights that led to better decisions during audit testing of numerous financial reports. I enjoyed leveraging artificial intelligence tools like the in-house machine learning platform to bring change to our ways of work as IT auditors and consultants, and make them more efficient, more accurate, and overall smarter.Prior to PwC, I had the opportunity to work within the Corporate Marketing Office at L’Oreal USA as a digital marketing intern developing my own data analysis project where I applied statistical modeling to online advertising data from DSPs and presented findings for the company executives into the efficiency of marketing budget distribution among the different media channels for the company brands.Overall, I am a forward-leaning person with practical experience in machine learning and statistics as well as project managing and teamwork skills.
