Colleen also covers food, queerness, and politics.She is the Editorial Director of PLAY, a cookbook-magazine dedicated to LGBTQ+ life that contains recipes, stories, and essays for liberation. Previously, Colleen was the Managing Editor of The Wine Zine. She has taught storytelling workshops across the United States with support from institutions like the National Endowment for the Arts, and often speaks on panels addressing climate, queerness, and culture. In 2019, she was a Fulbright scholar in Malaysia.She has nearly a decade of experience working at the intersection of nonprofit communications, journalism, and digital culture.
