I conduct individual counseling sessions for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault through in person, virtual, and phone support formatsI administer suicidality risk assessments to clients, as neededI collaborate with clients to develop and implement comprehensive, individualized safety plansI assess need for referrals to additional community resourcesI co-facilitate a weekly domestic violence support groupI act as a co-instructor for a domestic violence psycho-education course for clients referred by DCFIn partnership with Springfield Technical Community College (STCC), I also work as the STCC Campus advocate, providing services on campus to clients who are STCC students, staff, and/or faculty.

My daily responsibilities included bathing, drying, brushing, nail care/ear cleaning, as a well as giving dogs haircuts. I assessed every dog during check in to partner with the pet parent on coming up with a grooming plan for their dog and what services will be the best for them.

Full time overnight staff required to remain awake and alert through duration of the shift, providing informal counseling and emotional support to clients as necessary
