Dropship Analyst
CurrentResponsible for monitoring drop ship operations to meet the merchandising goals for sales, fillrate, vendor performance and inventory cancels. Educate existing and new vendors on the Bluestem Vendor Requirements and Drop ship Process. Proactively manage the daily execution of the drop ship order process: Expediting of drop ship orders with the vendors based on the ship dates provided to the customer. Identify vendor issues and communicate/resolve as needed. Provide reporting to the vendors monthly to ensure inventory forecasts are met. Testing. Monitor vendor performance and resolve and issues.Monitor drop ship reports and expedite/confirm drop ship orders with the vendors. Partner with EDI, customer Service to issue drop ship debit memos as needed, vendors to resolve issues the impact shipping or the receipt of ASN's and to improve lead-time performance ensuring compliance with ship representation dates.Provide demand forecast information to the vendor’s weekly/monthly. Communicate regularly with vendors, documenting issues for future reference. Provide updates to the buying team as needed to resolve issues.Work with Vendor Compliance and third party providers to create vendor performance reporting/scorecards. Reporting elements include but not limited to: Lead-time, Fillrate, Inventory, Expense offsets.Manage the on-boarding and education of new vendors, Educate the vendors on the Bluestem Brands, Inc. drop ship process, Validate carton marking and packing list requirements, validate EDI setup. Work with the Credit and Customer Service teams to monitor and cancel drop ship orders as needed.Partner with the Buyers to resolve vendor related concerns and to expand opportunities with the vendors,.input on process changes to develop efficiencies in the drop ship process. Research and implement automation of processes where possible. Serve as a first point of contact for all internal and external customers on drop ship.
