Administrative Assistant - Main Office
Reporting directly to the Assistant Principal for Curriculum and Scheduling, I dealt with a wide-variety of tasks on a daily basis. Day-to-day tasks included answering phone calls, maintaining student attendance, processing transcript requests, issuing student driver permits, and greeting all visitors to the Main Office and directing them to the appropriate department. One of my main duties was maintaining the student and parent demographics which including updating the information in Q (the school's database) and disseminating those changes to the relevant parties in a timely manner. Remaining highly organized was key in this process.Another main task was coordinating the registration for Advanced Placement tests. I entered every test into our Access registration system and collected and reported all payments. In total, there were over 1,200 tests ordered. Student communication was key and I facilitated that by utilizing the Remind.com messaging system in order to ensure we ordered the correct number of tests.Other tasks included coordinating and printing out all of the graduation awards, creating and maintaining an informational email list regarding bus services, in which I utilized Google's mail merge attachment to expedite replies and helping with other projects assigned to me.
