CurrentI represent clients through all stages of construction and development, from the initial zoning and entitlement to the ultimate resolution of disputes.In my land use practice, I represent developers of commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects in the Triangle and throughout North Carolina. I represent clients before legislative bodies, boards, and commissions, and help them secure rezonings and other land use approvals.In my property tax practice, I represent large commercial property owners before local boards and the North Carolina Property Tax Commission. I lead a team at Parker Poe that has handled hundreds of property tax appeals throughout North Carolina.I also litigate on behalf of my clients in the superior courts of North Carolina, the federal district courts of North Carolina, the North Carolina Court of Appeals, and the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals.
