Currently building a SaaS company as part of a VC-backed fellowship within BYU’s start-up accelerator program

- Currently developing machine learning algorithms to analyze electron microscopy images of bacteria structures.- Hosted 2 Kaggle competitions to involve the community, wrote custom scoring metrics for competition models- Used Computer Vision techniques such as super voxel segmentation, ray features, histogram equalization to aid in image processing for training

- Built a full-stack Flask/React app to automate the financial reconciliations process for incoming charitable donation transactions using MongoDB, Plaid and Quickbooks APIs.- Saved finance team ~75 hours/week

- Built an AI Assistant to expedite the referral call verification process for credit applications using a FastAPI server hosted on AWS, LLM inference via the Groq API, and TTS/SST Streaming through Deepgram, and call managing/recording through Twilio- Helped to reduce average application time from 2 hours to 10 minutes- Constructed an XGBoost Classification model to differentiate between salaried and unsalaried applicants-Presented to the company on AI applications for product managers, software developers, designers, and data analysts to accelerate their work

- Led 2 groups of 19 teenagers on a 2-week humanitarian trip to help build classrooms and a library in Cartagena, Colombia- Responsible for international travel logistics, safety and well-being, and language translation for the group

Worked as a Project Engineering Intern for Western National Contractors.-Helped draft budget proposal for 2 large multi-family apartment complexes.-Worked with the procurement team to secure funding and bidders for the project trades-Learned project management skills through working with different construction hierarchies (Superintendents, Project Managers, VPs, etc.)

- Developed backend search features for a nonprofit web application called Abaca using Django- Revamped unused backend pages for employee use- Designed front-end webpage graphics for entrepreneurship development plan using JavaScript and HTML/CSS- Helped create a 10-step plan to assist non-profit companies transitioning from start-ups to established corporations
